ABOUT US
Class A, E Sandstone #8
Scarce Sandstone in High Demand
Our 150-acre quarry is one of only two quarries in a 100 mile radius with 15.6M tons of this stone. It is typically used for bridges and turns on highways in order to prevent sliding. Infrastructure spending by the government has created immense demand for this stone.
Simple Transportation
Valier Coal Yard
Our load out facility, Valier Coal Yard, is conveniently located 14 miles via-I-80 and only 10 miles via weight restricted road from the Buffalo & Pittsburgh rail line. This rail line connects to both Norfolk Southern and CSX, making transportation both easy and affordable. It is located 75mi from Pittsburgh, PA, 110mi from Youngstown, OH, 170mi from Buffalo, NY, 172mi from Harrisburg, PA, and 177mi from Cleveland, OH.
Limestone Quarry
30+ Yrs. of Limestone Resource
Our additional limestone quarry, Grange Lime & Stone, has been in operation for over 20 years with over 30+ years of life still left in it. Our limestone quarry is located only ten minutes from the sandstone quarry via unrestricted road.
strong industry growth
Fueled by Massive Government Spending
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law has approved $300B of spending via the Transportation Infrastructure Act, earmarked for roads, highways, and bridges. All of these require Class A, E skid-resistant sandstone #8 fueling extreme demand.
